Our Story

Good people putting customers first.

For the past 30 years, Rod Skerry has been a trusted name in plumbing here in the Wagga Wagga region.

As a licenced plumber, foreman and project manager, Rod is considered one of the good guys in the trades around here. That’s because he puts people (and family) first – his own and yours. He has a well-earned reputation for always going the extra mile for customers and it’s this work ethic, plus his commitment to being a good operator who only employs good people, that drives RSP Services today.

Whether we’re out doing maintenance in a customer’s home or handling all the plumbing on a brand-new commercial development, you can always rely on RSP Services to take on your work with the same winning attitude that makes everything a solvable problem, every customer valued and respected, and every outcome top-quality. And while he likes to keep his team’s capabilities up-to-the-minute, Rod’s attitude is as old-school and good as it gets: “If the job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right!”

Our Team

Starting out with just one tradie and one apprentice in 2016, RSP Services is now a core team of 16 with more than 110 years between us bringing our extensive expertise to projects large and small.

From experienced plumbers who’ve worked on commercial and industrial work their whole trade to the team that handles residential and real estate maintenance work, to our project estimator and our journeyman plumbers and apprentices, each member of the RSP team plays a vital role in delivering for our customers. All our tradies have, as a minimum, a current NSW Contractor Licence, SafeWork NSW White Card, National Police Check, Working with Children Check and Driver’s Licence. Because we’re always looking for new ways to provide modern solutions, our team remains up to date with the latest training, including professional and personal development.

For us, it’s not just about being great plumbers, it’s about being good people.

Each individual member of the RSP team is great at what they do, but more than that, each one has made the cut because there are good people first and foremost. We insist on operating with a clear conscious, doing the right thing, and genuinely putting in.

 We consider ourselves a family business. Yes, this means that family comes first, but at RSP, family is also our attitude. It’s showing the respect we show to family and striving to make our families (and yours) proud. And it’s taking our role in the work-life cycle personally by always delivering what we promise when we promise. Because not doing so impacts others and they have family they want to put first, too.

At the end of the day, nothing beats a genuine handshake to sign off a job done right, except maybe a little waving hand welcoming you home.
